Congratulations to Mike Smith Provimi Foods, for his promotion to National Sales Manager!

Winn Meat Company’s premier veal provider, Provimi Foods Inc. announced the promotion of Mike Smith to National Sales Manager. Smith, who currently oversees the growth of Provimi in the South Central and West Coast divisions, will now oversee the company’s national sales operations.

“As we keep evolving as a company and creating new gourmet meal solutions, we are looking to Mike’s experience in the field,” said Dan Schober, Provimi Foods’ GM, “His role is vital in maintaining the progressive momentum of Provimi – not only by delivering our new product capabilities, but also understanding and exceeding the needs of our customers.”

Smith joined Provimi Foods in 2005 as a sales representative. Before that, his 14 years of experience included general manager of a food distributor in Guam. Smith will be based in Dallas, but be responsible for Provimi’s sales initiatives throughout the U.S.

“We do more than sell product,” Smith explained, “ we sell the overall Provimi brand promise of consistent quality and value. It’s exciting for me to help grow the most recognized name in veal sauces and gourmet meal solutions.”
