Steak Line Department Supervisor Jerry Mendez’ experience and quality control leadership are exemplary of the standards that have built the Winn Meat Company tradition of excellence.

He started as a driver with WMC in 1986, interacting with customers in the field and hearing their ideas and perspectives.  From there, he helped WMC take care of customers in providing specialty cuts and meeting their unique and individual specifications for recipes, moving into production of our leading protein items.  Through leadership like Jerry’s, every item passes tough scrutiny and quality before it is packaged and shipped to customers.  Jerry is a valued member of the team that makes sure the high caliber of our products is unmatched, again and again.

“We have a history of doing whatever the customer needs,” said Jerry.  “That’s what our business is all about.  I’ve seen the business at WMC grow.  But the attention to detail in our caring about customers hasn’t changed.”
