STAR EMPLOYEE: David Hill

David Hill’s passion for food and food service is a family tradition, and we’re thrilled that he’s been part of the Winn Meat Company team for more than 15 years. 

Each day, David cooks many of the custom recipes Winn Meat Company prepares for our customers throughout Texas, including chili, jambalaya, gumbos, sausage gravies, shredded briskets and more.

“I love working for Winn because of all the great people I work with each day.  It’s the right size company – big enough to take care of our customer’s needs, but small enough where you know everybody, too,” said David. 

Passion for great food runs in David’s family.  He grew up Highland Park with in his mom’s catering business.  Along with David’s long-time cooking at Winn Meat Company, David’s sister now has a successful custom cake business.

In his spare time, David enjoys spending time with his wife Larrilee, camping and barbecuing throughout the Southwestern United States. 

It’s David’s quality control and love of food that make him a cherished team member at Winn Meat Company. Thank you, David!
