Meet Mike Pearce
Winn Meat Company – Austin
Mike Pearce brings a world of experience to Winn Meat Company as a new sales leader for the Austin team. A graduate of the acclaimed Texas Culinary Academy, Mike’s talents have led him to leadership positions at such great restaurants as the historic Driskill Hotel’s 1886 Café, where Pearce worked under the tutelage of renowned Executive Chef David Bull and Hill Manor in Fredericksburg, a sophisticated and luxurious restaurant set against the beauty of the Texas Hill Country, where Mike was executive chef. Mike’s recipes have been acclaimed by national news outlets, including Bon Appetit and Bride’s Magazine.
As a child, Pearce took much pleasure in cooking a variety of foods with his parents. Creating mouth-watering Italian dishes with his mother and hearty Scottish breakfasts with his father helped prepare Pearce for his well-rounded culinary career.
Mike joined the Winn Meat Company sales team with great enthusiasm to balance his business interests along with having the opportunity to be creative with customer solutions and stay closely involved in the restaurant business.

In addition to his love of all things culinary, Pearce is accomplished in many fields, speaks several languages such as German, Hebrew, Arabic, Gaelic, and has a strong commitment to community. He is the recipient of the Presidential Silver Star of Valor and was awarded a Purple Heart for his military service in Panama as an Army Green Beret. He and his wife Rochelle live in Austin.
