Deede Morris Goes The Extra Mile, Plus Sixty More!

We are extremely proud of our colleague Deede Morris for her fabulous efforts to raise money for breast cancer research. Deede and a group of her friends (her team) have participated in a number of breast cancer walks over the past several months. The grand finale was their participation in the Susan G. Komen Foundation Breast Cancer Three Day in October. Deede and her team walked nearly 60 miles over a three-day period, covering the territory from Texas Stadium, to Arlington, to Fort Worth. The team also camped out between walk days. approximately 60 miles!

The fabulous team raised money to fight breast cancer by soliciting sponsors for the walks and through snack sales. The impressive part is that they raised $11,000.

We are proud to have Deede on the WMC team the head of our Accounting Department. Her dedication and leadership helps our customers – and helps great causes. Thank you for going the extra mile, Deede!
