Winn Meat Company Honored at Sterling Silver® Summit

Winn Meat Company leadership recently attended the Sterling Silver® Summit, hosted in September by Sterling Silver® Premium Meats in Amarillo.  Professionals from throughout the United States gathered for an annual discussion of current topics in the American Beef Industry.

Featured presenter was James Herring, President and CEO of Friona Industries, whose company was recently studied by Harvard Business School, along with his revolutionary initiative, the Beef Advantage Project (BAP), to unite the beef industry for advancement of quality and management of source information.

Additionally, Winn Meat Company was honored for its successful sales of Sterling Silver Beef, as the company with the highest increase from 2006 to 2007 in sales.
