Operation Frontline: Educating Those in Need

Winn Meat Company Sales Team member Jose Vargas is an instructor in Operation Frontline’s program to educate agencies serving those in need how to better use their resources and enhance nutrition. Winn Meat Company is the provider of all protein for Operation Frontline’s programs. Jose taught this class at Metrocrest Social Services at First Christian Church, Carrollton.
The Days of Change Tour: Calling for Volunteers

Winn Meat Company Vice President of Product Development, Jamie Samford, hosted a program at the historic Plano Balloon Festival this year, in conjunction with North Texas Food Bank’s Operation Front Line and Kashi Foods: The Days of Change Tour. Operation Frontline is a program that helps agencies across the United States that are serving the needy to better utilize foods for maximum nutrition and cost efficiency. Jamie Samford is a lead educator for this program.
The Days of Change Tour is communicating the need for Operation Frontline Chefs and volunteers in the North Texas Community.
Caritas of Austin: Helping the Homeless

March of Dimes: Improving the Health of Infants

Along with leading instruction for the North Texas Food Bank’s/Share Our Strength’s Operation Frontline, Winn Meat Company Vice President of Product Development and Corporate Chef Jamie Samford hosted stations across Texas for the March of Dimes Signature Chefs fundraiser to help improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
