Ben E. Keith Foods Acquires Winn Meat Company

Ben E. KeithFORT WORTH, TX (November 11, 2008) -- Ben E. Keith Foods, the ninth largest institutional foodservice distributor in the nation, based in Fort Worth, Texas, announced today that it has acquired Winn Meat Company of Dallas, Texas.

Winn Meat Company has been providing foodservice clients with top quality meat products and services for over 100 years. In addition to its award-winning custom cutting operation, portion control of raw meat products, and cooked food production, the Winn Meat Company procurement team provides customers with a product array of the finest proteins to please their customers’ palates from: Sterling Silver Premium Meats, Meyer Natural Angus Beef, Nueske's, Provimi Foods, Maple Leaf Farms, Mountain States Rosen Co., D'Artagnan, Pilot Brands, Snake River Farms, The Town Dock, North American Bison Cooperative, Hudson Valley Foie Gras, Sullivan Harbor Farm and Salumeria Biellese.
