Spiced Cranberry Apple Cider

Ingredients

  • ½ Gallon Apple cider
  • ½ Gallon Cranberry/Apple cider or cran-apple juice cocktail
  • 2 Each Cinnamon sticks
  • 10 Whole Cloves
  • 3" Piece of Ginger Peeled and grated, juice reserved
  • 1 Orange Peeled and sliced ¼"

Combine all the ingredients in a large non reactive saucepan. Simmer about 20 minutes. Strain. Serve the cider warm from a coffee urn or ladle into cups or glasses. This would be very nice for your guests to enjoy as they arrive at your home for a holiday gathering. Enjoy!

Makes about one gallon.

Prosecco Sparkling Punch

Ingredients

  • 1 Bottle Prosecco, an affordable Italian sparkling wine, chilled
  • 1 Can Pink lemonade concentrate, frozen
  • 1 Can Orange juice concentrate, frozen
  • 1 Bottle sparkling water
  • 1 Pear diced medium and frozen
  • 1 Cup pineapple, diced medium and frozen
  • 20 Grapes destemmed and frozen

Place the first 4 ingredients in a punch bowl. Stir l until the concentrate is dissolved and the ingredients are mixed well. Add the frozen fruit for garnish and to keep the punch cold. Ladle into glasses and enjoy!

Makes about ¾ gallon.
